Maharashtra Cong row: Rau meets Sonia

The scene of Maharashtra Congress infighting shifted to the Capital today as PCC chief Prabha Rau met Congress president Sonia Gandhi to apprise her of the situation. Also many state leaders landed here to brief senior leaders.

What triggered the row is the reconstitution of the PCC. Apart from the allegations of nepotism, regional and social imbalance, there is talk of money changing hands. Both Rau and AICC general secretary in-charge Margaret Alva are under attack.
