It8217;s not for publicity8212;playback singer Sukhwinder says he chose to be on the panel of judges in the second season of Voice of India entirely for the sake of 8220;infuse passion into the participants.8221;

In the city to promote the popular TV show, accompanying programme producer Gajendra Singh and shortlisted candidates, Sukhwinder justified the lack of originality in such shows saying the songs could not be credited entirely to the original singers. 8220;These great songs are also the product of the imagination of great lyricists and composers and surely, these participants will sing them in their own style,8221; he said.

In tandem with the show producer he promised that in future episodes, the participants would be heard singing fresh and numbers penned by Gulzar and composed by Sukhwinder, especially for the programme.
