Lingua fracas

The Congress campaign control room in Ahmedabad has a tough task of rostering VIP campaigners from outside the state. No candidate is interested in wasting time organising meetings for assorted AICC general secretaries and chief ministers from other states. Shankersinh Vaghela is the only campaigner in demand. The second person for whom some requests came was the Puducherry chief minister. The Tamil population in Ahmedabad is very active and both the BJP and the Congress have deployed their Tamil-speaking leaders in such pockets.
