MUMBAI, JUNE 19: After achieving a growth rate of 36 per cent in disbursement and 31 per cent in sanctions in the fiscal 1999-2000, LIC Housing Finance Limited has scaled down its current year8217;s growth target to 28 per cent in disbursement and 25 per cent in sanctions. Total disbursements of 46,672 cases of individual loans were up at Rs 1,285.06 crore while sanctions were Rs 1,433.58 crore.

Besides, the company sanctioned loans to corporate bodies and developers for a sum of Rs 43.46 crore during the year. Managing director Y P Gupta said that the company plans to sanction over 60,000 individual loans for Rs 1,768.10 crore and disburse over 57,000 loans for Rs 1,625 crore in the current fiscal 2000-2001.
