LF campaign against PDS

FEBRUARY 8: The Left Front in Maharashtra will launch a week-long campaign from Tuesday protesting the proposed introduction of ration cards in three-categories in the state. They will also protest for immediate withdrawal of hike in prices of public distribution scheme PDS rice, wheat, sugar and LPG and urea.

The Left Front comprising CPI M, CPI and Peasants and Workers Party of India, will organise several street-corner meetings, processions and public meetings in various parts of the city.
