Kumaraswamy, Revanna leading

Former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and former minister H D Revanna were among the prominent leaders who were leading the fray.

Former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and former minister H D Revanna were among the prominent leaders who were leading the fray.

In Ramnagaram, Kumaraswamy was leading by 17,585 votes while in Holenarsipura, his brother H D Revanna, was leading by 12,980 votes.

In Srirangapattna, cine star Ambareesh from the Congress was trailing by 3,400 votes.

In Harpanahalli, G Karunakara Reddy was inching ahead of his close rival, leading by 4802 votes. Congress leader M P Prakash is trailing.

In Bellary, G Somasekhar Reddy of the BJP was leading by 1,484 votes with mining baron Anil Lad of the Congress trailing behind.

In Sorab, SP leader S Bangarappa8217;s son Kumar Bangarappa is trailing by 3,196 votes. The constituency is one of the key constituencies as both of Bangarappa8217;s sons are locked in a close fight.
