KPCL to commission Shaktinet

BANGALORE, Feb 14: The Karnataka Power Corporation KPCL is to commission a computerised satellite communication network- Shaktinet, through VSAT, on February 16, inorder to link its power stations with its corporate office in Bangalore. In addition, local networks LAN have also been set up at the corporate office and design centre in Bangalore with loan assistance from the Power Finance Corporation, according to K Jairaj, Managing Director, KPCL.
