CHANDIGARH, Oct 6: The Punjab and Haryana High Court today adjourned to October 13 the case pertaining to the quashing of chargesheet issued against V.K. Khanna, a former chief secretary of Punjab.

The Punjab Government had issued a chargesheet to Khanna for having entrusted inquiries against senior Punjab bureaucrats to the CBI during his tenure as chief secretary in the previous Bhattal regime.

While resuming the hearing today, a division bench of the court comprising Justice J.L. Gupta and Justice N.C. Khichi adjourned the case for arguments, after the counsel for senior IAS officer Bikramjit Singh had sought time to reply to the personal allegations made against Justice K.S. Tiwana retd, who is the Inquiring Authority against Khanna.
