Khaleda146;s younger son arrested

Another son of former Bangladesh Prime Minister Khaleda Zia was arrested after Sunday midnight by the military-backed government as part of its crackdown against corruption.

This comes 46 days after her influential eldest son was taken into custody. Arafat Rahman Koko, a businessman, was arrested from the former Prime Minister8217;s residence in the Cantonment area here, officials said on Monday.

Joint military and police forces carried out a massive search inside the house while senior officials talked to Zia and her son for a 8220;long time8221; before taking him into custody, reported private television channel ATN Bangla and the newspaper Prothom Alo.
