A few questions: How did the attacker come to know about the exact timing of the programme of the day? How did the car come to the campus without being noticed or checked by others, including the security? How did the person disappear in the car without being noticed after the incident? Every such incident indicates the possible role of at least one insider who was present in the proceedings or aware of the programme schedule.

8226; It is shameful that ever since the 1971 Indo-Pak war culminating in the liberation of Bangladesh due to the heroic action of India8217;s armed forces, 54 Indian POWs are still languishing in Pakistani jails. On the other hand, as per the Geneva Convention, India promptly repatriated a record number of 93,000 Pakistani POWs held in Indian custody. Pakistan8217;s double standards in this regard cannot be condoned. This matter needs to be raised by the Indian authorities in the UN Assembly to seek the release of Indian POWs from Pakistani captivity.
