Karmarkar passes away

PUNE, Aug 11: Preacher of sahaja yoga sadhana, and sixth Sadguru of the Sandhyashram tradition Vasant Maharaj Karmarkar passed away today. He was 70.

Karmarkar retired as professor at the training department of the Indian Meteorological Department in 1982. He later started teaching sahaja yoga. He had authored two books on the philosophy of sahaja yoga.
