PATIALA, Feb 10: The president of Punjab State Karamchari Dal, Hari Singh Tohra has appealed to the Union Government to reconsider its decision on price hike.

In a statement issued here today, he stated that the decision gave the impression that the government had bowed to the dictates of the capitalist-class. He also appealed to the state government to accept the long pending demands of its employees. He urged the government to immediately implement the anomalies committee8217;s report, lying pending with the govt.

Tohra also urged the government to order regularisation of the services of daily wagers and the persons, who are working on 89 days basis. The government should also honour its announcement regarding paying house rent to its Patiala based employees on 15 per cent basis, he added.
