Sunil cruises
NEW DELHI: Sunil Kumar got off to a breezy start in the first round of the ITF junior tennis circuit Delhi leg and then stopped his cooling-off session for a quick interview with a waiting TV crew. All done with immense panache.
Sunil took apart lucky loser Siddharth Sudhakar 6-0, 6-3 in quick time, only pausing to take a toilet break which further unsettled his already nervous opponent.
The upset of the day was caused by Nandita Chandrashekhar, who beat third seed Aibika Kalsarieva of Kyrgyzstan 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.
