Just trying to get basics right: RP Singh

Rudra Pratap Singh today said he was eager to repeat his performance in Pakistan last year during the forthcoming series. Attending the Team India camp here prior to the first ODI in Guwahati, he said: “We have played well over the last few months. We won the Twenty20 World Cup and I am satisfied with the performance I have put up. I just try to do the basics right.

“I don’t listen to comments and criticisms. I work hard and try to keep myself focussed,” he said, adding: “I have played a lot of cricket over the past few months, both domestic and international. All that has helped build my confidence.”
