
NEW DELHI, JANUARY 15: Jeev Milkha Singh turned in cards of 69 and 70 in the first two rounds to be joint eighhth midway through the $ 770,000 Alfred Dunhill Championship at the par-72 Houghton golf course in Johannesburg.
Trevor Dodds (Namibia), who shot 69 and 65, led the field, two strokes ahead of Anthony Wall and Gary Orr. Four others Peter Baker (Eng), Paul Broadhurst (Eng), Phillip Price (Wal) 71 67 and Ricardo Gonzalez (Arg) 70 68 were two strokes further behind at 138.
Jeev was sharing the eighth spot with German Bernhard Langer, Englishman Steve Webster and South Africans David Frost, Nic Henning and Des Terblanche, who often plays on the Asian PGA.
