Shabana Azmi on the one film that always makes her cry:

Mili has been shown on telvision about 2000 times, and this is one film that Tanvi (my sister-in-law) and I have to watch each time it’s on. If one of us finds out that it’s on TV, we ring up the other and say: "Baat mat karo, Mili TV pe hai, jao dekho."

There’s another line which touches me immensely. It’s the one where Amitabh asks Jaya: "Achchi ho?" And she replies: "Buri kab thi, jo achchi hoon." It was simply wonderful dialogue."
