CHANDIGARH, May 13: State Bank of Patiala is organising an Inter-Bank Table Tennis Tournament at Reserve Bank of India Recreation Club in Sector 17 here from May 14 to 19, according to J S Dua, Assistant General Manager, State Bank of Patiala.Reserve Bank of India, State Bank of India, Punjab Finance Corporation, Haryana Finance Corporation, NABARD, UTI, IDBI, Bank of India, OBC, Punjab and Sind Bank and hosts State Bank of Patiala have confirmed their participation.Dua said that the tournament would be conducted in team championship which would be played on the lines of Corbillon Cup. Individual events would start on May 17 in men's singles, women's singles and veteran singles.Vijaya Raghavan, Regional Director of Reserve Bank of India will inaugurate the meet while K S Baghel, general manager, State Bank of Patiala will preside.Binny, Suri winBinny Bath played a fine round of one under to win the medal round in the silver division for May at the Chandigarh Golf Course. She was followed by Taran Simran Singh who carded a par round.Kuljit Suri emerged winner in the bronze division while young Harsharan Kaur finished runner-up. Fifteen ladies participated in the medal round.
