India8217;S leading table tennis player Nupur Santra was today thrown out of the Inter-Institutional Tournament for unsporting behaviour during yesterday8217;s semi-finals.
Yesterday as Railways nosed to a 0-2 deficit against Banks Sports Board, Santra was fighting for his side8217;s existence. He was one down in the decider match against D Thukral when a decision went against him. When his argument failed to get point he stomped on the ball. Later he was debarred from today8217;s finals.
