While busy concentrating on his new drink Appy Nectar, for which he is tying up with popular pubs in major metros across the country and enjoying the fame of being the world leader in biscuits, tycoon Prakash Chauhan has also found time to come out with new flavours and some really innovative marketing strategies to promote his flagship drink Frooti. According to the new plan, he is targeting children through two animated characters called Froo and Ti. These two characters are being displayed on the packs of the drink. And through tongue twisters, puzzles and various interactive games, the characters are entertaining the children as well as increasing their knowledge about famous personalities and current affairs. He has also planned to rope in some NGOs, with whom he will conduct activities with Frooti thus completing his social responsibilities as well. This new gimmick is partially inspired by Parle8217;s previous Digen Verma campaign, which was quite a success, as everyone was left wondering who the character was. The tycoon, famous for conducting audience research and tests to see the tastes and acceptance levels of his products in the market, has discovered that his 8216;little8217; audience are quite impressed by his drink. Considering he has already targeted children before with success in his 8216;ParleG Make My Dream Come True8217; contest, the tycoon probably hopes that children are the key to success. Perhaps Froo and Ti will prove that in time!

NUSLI Wadia is a wiser man now. It has been a bit of a setback to be told that he fluffed up his lines while courting his mega media dreams. But unfazed and perhaps influenced by the frenzied actions inside the Tata group and the A.V. Birla group, he has also decided to restructure his group. While the manufacturing operations of all his group companies are being restructured, he is shifting his headquarters from South Mumbai to Worli. Meanwhile, hopes are high on his Rs 1,500 crore Britannia industries. The tycoon was recently caught with a smile on his face after he acquired the permission to set up a Rs 60 crore food processing plant in Pant Nagar in the Kumaon region of Uttaranchal. This was all part of the Uttaranchal government8217;s latest and newest fast track plans for industrial development in the State. While the tycoon has acquired 20 acres of the land there, plans for a similar project in Haridwar involving 1500 acres of land are also on the cards.
