Appreciating knowledge resources of overseas Indians and its significance in India8217;s march to becoming a developed economy, industry leaders at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas have said that the country should find ways to leverage this knowledge for 8220;mutually beneficial8221; overall progress.

There is a significant contribution to the country8217;s economy and the GDP growth through knowledge contribution of Indians abroad, speakers at the Diaspora Knowledge Network of the third Pravasi Bharatiya Divas said. They said, 8220;Opportunity is before us to find ways to leverage the knowledge, expertise and skills of Indians abroad for meaningful and mutually beneficial contribution to the development imperatives in India.8221; India benefited immensely with the growth of ICT and its software revenue registered at US 60 billion and its BPOs earning also increased up to 30-35 per cent.
