Auto mechanicas hold meeting
The Chandigarh Auto Mechanics Welfare Association held a meeting to discuss the notification of the Chandigarh Administration for rehabilitation of auto mechanics. The members held the view that the dual policy of the allotment will not solve the matter. According to the general secretary of the association, Jagmohan Sodhi, the limited auction will benefit the property dealers jeopardising the purpose of rehabilitation.

While the department of Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy selected 19 institutions for the programme countrywide, only two colleges have been selected from the region. The Homoeophathic Medical College has been selected for Organon and Physiosphy of Homoeopathy.
