Cong campaign
The New Congress Party today launched a quot;Sarkar Jagao, Desh Bachaoquot; campaign under the leadership of the party president Rampal Hans in Sector 45 here today. According to a party press release, the campaign would awaken the public and the government on the needs of the public. Among some of the things highlighted by the party include retention of Chandigarh and keeping it seperate from Punjab and Haryana, dissolution of the municipal corporation and allotment of CHB houses only to Chandigarh citizens.

Annual function
Sector 8 DAV Senior secondary school will celebrate its Annual Festivities Week from November 24 to November 28. Nearly 1,500 students from various schools of India will compete in various events.

Clarification
The photograph published on November 22 related to the nagar kirtan procession on the occasion of martyrdom of Guru Teg Bahadur and not the Khalsa Sirjana Divas as mentioned in the caption. The procession was taken out by the Sector 22-D Gurdwara Asthapan Committee.
