Indian boxer in pre-quarters

TASHKENT: Mohd Ali Qamar reached the pre-quarter finals of the lightweight section without landing a punch in the preliminary rounds of the Asian Boxing Championships. SAF gold medallist Qamar got a bye in the first round.

4 Indians qualify

PUNE: Pune8217;s Kedar Shah failed to maintain his impressive run even as four Indians qualified to the main draw of ITF Indian Tennis Satellite Circuit second leg. Sanzuruz Zaman, Anand Radhakrishnan, Kunj Mujmudar, K Shivshankar are the four Indians qualifying for the main draw.
