IA plane wheels burst

Both the rear wheels on the right side of an Indian Airlines Boeing flight from New Delhi to Patna burst following 8221;heavy landing8221; here today, sources said, adding that all the fifty-six passengers and seven crew people on board were safe.

As the wheels thumped on the runway at the Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport here, the tyres burst and the wheels got bent, IA area manager Darshan Singh said.
