Tanmay to lead U-19 squad

Mumbai: Uttar Pradesh8217;s Tanmay Srivastava was today chosen to lead the India under-19 squad to Sri Lanka for a tri-nation series also involving Bangladesh.

Delhi8217;s middle order bat Virat Kohli and left-arm pacer Pradeep Sangwan are also in the squad. The team will also play some three-day matches.

Tanmay Srivastava capt, UP, Ravindra Jadeja vice-captain, Sau, Abhinav Mukund TN, Harshad Khadiwale Maha, Virat Kohli Del, Manish Pandey Kar, Saurabh Tiwary Jhar, Shreevats Goswami Ben, Aman Preet Singh Pun, Pradeep Sangwan Del, Abu Nachim Ahmed Asm, Shrikant Mundhe Mah, G V S Prasad Asm, K P Appanna Kar and Iqbal Abdullah Mum.

NOTE: Khadiwale, Pandey, Ahmed and Abdullah will return at the end of the tri-series and will be replaced by Rohan Banerjee Ben, Ankit Tiwari UP, Dhawal Kulkarni Mum and Swapnil Singh Bar for the three-day matches.
