HUDA forms zonal committees

PANCHKULA, Sept 17: The Haryana Urban Development Authority HUDA has decided to form zonal committees for the redressal of grievances of residents. Giving details of the zonal committees, HUDA Administrator, Sumita Singh said for Sectors 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 20, a meeting will be held every third Friday at 10 a.m., at the office of XEN-I, HUDA, Sector 8.

Similarly, for the Sectors 5, 10, 11, 12, 12A, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, Phase I and II, the meeting will be held every second Friday in the office of XEN-II in Sector 8, here.The meeting for Sectors 4, 5 MDC, 25 and 26 will be held every first Friday in the office of XEN-III, HUDA, at HUDA workshop, Industrial Area, PhaseI.

HUDA will remove congress grass from the vacant plots by issuing notices to the owners to either remove the same at their own level, within 20 days, failing which HUDA will get removed the same by charging Rs 1 per Sq m of the total area of the plot. Also HUDA has directed to close the commercial activity in the residential houses within 15 days, failing which, HUDA will get the same closed at the risk and cost of allotees for which defaulters will be completely responsible.
