
PUNE, May 5: Cash and ornaments, totally estimated to be worth over Rs 84,000, were stolen in two separate burglaries reported from parts of the city on Sunday.
Cash and ornaments, totally worth Rs 68,500 were stolen from the residence of Kevalmal Gandhi at Kalas village on Pune-Alandi Road. The unidentified thieves forced entry into the house after breaking the padlock while the Gandhis8217; had gone out, a complaint lodged with Vishrantwadi police said.
Ornaments and cash, totally estimated at Rs 16,350, were stolen from the residence of Ashutosh Tripathi at Khadki. A complaint lodged with Khadki police said that the unidentified thieves entered inside the house by unlatching the main entrance of the house.
