House robbed at Malad

MAY 8: A Malad resident who went for a walk at Juhu Beach, on his return found his house burgled and cash and gold worth Rs 3.27 lakh missing.

Anilbhai Ranja, a resident of Evershine Nagar, Malad west, left home at 7 pm and returned at 11 pm to find his bathroom window broken. Ranja soon discovered that the burglars had broken open his cupboard and Rs 1 lakh cash and gold ornaments valued around Rs 2.37 lakh were missing.

The Malad police, under whose jurisdiction the incident took place, have yet to make an arrest in this case. Investigations are on in the case.
