Gltiz, glamour and Bollywood biggies are what make an award show successful, but a film8217;s success is defined by team work. And the Screen Awards believe in recognising the hard work put in by those who are away from the limelight but contribute equally to the making of a good film.

If screenplay, dialogue and story are king, then Bollywood had a royal offering in 2006. Rang De Basanti and Lage Raho Munnabhai have been nominated in all three categories. 8220;This is extremely special as it8217;s the first time I have written dialogues for a film,8221; says Prasoon Joshi who has been nominated along with Rensil D8217;Silva for the dialogues of RDB.

For Rajkumar Hirani writing the screenplay of Lage Raho8230; was a unique experience because his co-writer was based in the US while he was in Mumbai. 8220;It was written completely on email,8221; he says.

In the Best Music category, the judges are sure to have a hard time choosing between the likes of AR Rahman, Vishal Bharadwaj, Himesh Reshammiya, Anu Malik, Jatin-Lalit and Shankar-Ehsan-Loy. And with names like Gulzar and Javed Akhtar competing with Prasoon Joshi, in the Best Lyrics category, don8217;t be surprised by a hung jury.

8220;My nomination reflects the changing times. Today we leave the softer, serious songs in the theatre and take home item songs as classics,8221; says Gulzar who has been nominated for Beedi Jalayale from Omkara.

Then are those who make the stars dance to their tunes. With songs like Beedi and Dhoom Again, that had the whole nation tapping their feet, choreographers Ganesh Acharya and Shiamak Davar have been nominated for these songs respectively. They face competition from Farah Khan and Ganesh Hegde, who is thrilled at being nominated. 8220;Main hoon Don8230; is my first song with Shah Rukh Khan for a film. The best part was when he told me that he had never looked this good. That was a bonus for me,8221; he says.
