BANGALORE, JUNE 16: Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna would soon lead an all party delegation to meet the Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajapayee, seeking his intervention on the issue of establishing a High Court Bench in North Karnataka.
"The demand of the state to establish a High Court bench in North Karnataka region in the interest of litigant public is non-negotiable," Krishna told newsmen here.
Krishna’s statement comes two days after the High Court Chief Justice Y Bhaskar Rao communicated to the state government the recommendations of a five-member judges committee that it was neither feasible nor desirable to establish a High Court bench in Dharwad or in any other place in North Karnataka.
