Haryana financier8217;s killers nabbed in city

CHANDIGARH, Feb 4: The Chandigarh Police today nabbed two persons for alleged involvement in several cases relating to kidnapping and murder in Haryana.

The accused, identified as Suresh Kumar of Kaithal and Ram Narayan of Hisar in Haryana, were wanted for the kidnapping and murder of Balbir Chand, a financier at Sohra Khera on January 6 this year. After committing the crime, they had reportedly thrown the body into a canal in the area and had absconded. The police had later fished out the body from the canal the same day.

A case had been registered against Suresh Kumar and Ram Narayan at Narvana Police station for the crimes.

The police said that the accused were arrested from the Sector 25 firing range today morning on a tip off from an anonymous informer. The culprits reportedly admitted to criminal activities in Haryana during the course of police interrogation in the city.
