Govt has failed, says ex MLA

SOLAPUR, Feb 18: Former Peasants Workers Party MLA Ganpatrao Deshmukh has called upon people to unite against the saffron government in the State that has failed to solve their problems.

Addressing a gathering at the collectorate, Deshmukh came down heavily on the government. He said due to mismanagement and wrong policies of the government , the prices of essential commodities have soared. Farmers, too, have been given empty promises about free electricity and unemployment continues.

He said the government was moving towards bankruptcy and the treasury was empty. 8220;If we don8217;t protest now, the situation will worsen,8221; he said.
