Mike Tyson set to seek succour in Wrestlemania
WASHINGTON: Mike Tyson has temporarily switched sports as a sign to rehabilitate himself in the public eye and will star in Wrestlemania XIV tomorrow.

“Ever since i was a kid I’ve been a wrestling fan. It’ll be great fun,” said Tyson.

Fredericks sprints to year’s fastest
JOHANNESBURG: Frankie Fredericks of Namibia clocked this year’s fastest time in the outdoor 100 meters, racing to victory in 9.96 seconds in the all-Africa invitational at Johannseburg Stadium.
In cloudy, rainy conditions last night,Fredericks became only the second man to break the ten-second mark in South Africa, beating Linford Christie’s open record of 9.97 at the same meet three years back.
Fredericks took full advantage of the windless conditions to register the new record with Nigerian Deji Aliu (10.22) and Antoine Boussombo of Gabon (10.26) completing the top three placings.
The most competitive race of the meeting was the men’s 3,000 metres, where South African Shadrack Hoff had just too much finishing power for former world record holder Moses Kiptanui, winning in 7 minutes and 56 seconds.
