Appeal on Shoaib ban
ADELAIDE: Pakistan has lodged an appeal against International Cricket Council’s (ICC) decision to ban paceman Shoaib Akhtar. Akhtar arrived with the Pakistan team for tomorrow’s one-day match against Australia A.Team manager Brigadier Mohammad Nasir said, “The appeal has been lodged, let’s hope that they reconsider.” Akhtar travelled with the squad on Monday to Adelaide to build up for the one-dayer.
