Gehlot allocates 13 departments, keeps 38

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday night allotted portfolios to his 13 Cabinet ministers and kept for himself 38 portfolios including Home, Finance, PWD, Urban Development and Energy.

Senior Congress leaders said the portfolios were allotted keeping in mind the trust vote as the Congress had got 96 of 200 seats in Rajasthan and later garnered the support of 14 Independent MLAs. 8220;By keeping prime departments with him, Gehlot has space to manoeuvre. He will probably expand his Cabinet after the trust vote,8221; said a senior Congress leader, requesting anonymity.
