NOVEMBER 8: Man-of-the-match Gaurang Shah slammed 150 off 140 balls as Bengal Club beat hosts Worli Sports Club by 27 runs in a pre-quarter-final tie of the Worli Sports Club under-14 cricket tournament, sponsored by Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, today.
In the other match, defending champions MIG CC lost to Thane MCA by 35 runs. Shoaib Shaikh (67 runs, two run-outs, two catches) was adjudged man of the match. Ajinkya Rahane supported him by scoring an impressive 45 runs.
