India, who beat Pakistan and Bangladesh yesterday, registered their third win with a well earned 57-40 verdict over Nepal before defeating hosts Thailand 50-22 to be right on top of the table with an all-win record.
India, overwhelming favourites for the gold, raced to a 37-21 lead against Nepal before keeping a slender edge in the second half to win by 17 points in the morning.
In the afternoon, they gave an education in the game to the hosts by rattling up a 31-7 lead at the break before winnning comfortably.
