Forms to clear garbage

VADODARA, May 20: Even as the Swachha Gujarat, Swastha Gujarat campaign began here on Thursday, Baroda Beautiful Council BBC, a city-based voluntary organisation, has arranged for forms for lodging complaints about garbage in localities.

Citing section 63 of the Bombay Provincial Municipal Corporation BPMC Act by which garbage has to be cleared within 24 hours after a complaint, BBC8217;s chief co-ordinator Suresh Pathak said that the forms would be useful as the 225-page Citizens Charter released by the VMC was yet not public.
