Encroachments, including a portion of a former BJP MP8217;s house, were demolished by the officials of the NHAI on Wednesday.

Encroachments, including a portion of a former BJP MP8217;s house, were demolished by the officials of the NHAI on Wednesday.

The encroachments, on a 3-km stretch on Charing Cross-Valley View Road, included former MP Master Mathan8217;s house, private hospitals, restaurants and a hotel, the police said. The operations were carried out with assistance of police officials.
