MUMBAI, March 1: In two separate cases foreign currency valued at Rs 63 lakh was seized by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence DRI. In the first case on Friday, DRI officials held one Rohra Ghanshyamdas when he was about to board a flight to Bangkok. Rohra had concealed foreign currency in two rolls of polycelotape in his rectum. In all, there were 4,000 US , equivalent to Rs 1.72 lakh. In the second case, DRI officials arrested one Ved Sharma at Sahar on Sunday. Search of his bag led to recovery of foreign currency worth Rs 61 lakh, concealed in a false cavity at the bottom of his suitcase.
