So in come silken bedspreads with matching cushion covers and coordinated towel sets. 8220;The wedding season is at its peak and when it comes to putting a trousseau together, brides-to be want to dress it up with linen too,8221; tells Grewal, who even customizes table linen according to dinner sets. As far as colours go, it8217;s a deep plum, turquoise blue affair. 8220;I have done a variety of bedspreads in silk in colours such as blue, cream, beige,8221; lists out Kamal as we eye coordinated towel sets, runners, tablemats, cushion covers et al. 8220;One of the bestsellers each winter is the hot bottle covers and I have quite a range this year,8221; Kamal says as we eye pretty floral ones. And given that Christmas is not too far, Kamal8217;s collection which will be up for sale at House No 87, Sector 8, also brings in Christmas stockings. And they sure are a pretty way to bring in Santa!

Members of Inner Wheel Club of Chandigarh Mid Town organised a picnic for destitute and mentally challenged persons of Pingalwara, Palsora, this week at Rose Garden, Sector 16. With about 70 participants and about 25 volunteers, the event was a house full with dance and poetry. Here, while Nirmal Milkha Singh was the chief guest, Kuljeet Kaur was the incharge.
