A time to rememberSix veteran Rajput officers and their families had the time of their lives as they journeyed to Kolkata and Port Blair. Organised by Rajput officers Association Punjab and Chandigarh Chapter, the officers undertook this adventure from October 18 to 21. As part of this memorable trip, the officers interacted with serving and retired officers of the Rajput Regiment settled at Kolkata, enjoyed a gala evening organised by Mrs. & Lt. Gen V.K Singh and marked a wonderful reunion of veteran and serving Rajput officers courtesy Lt. Gen V.K.Singh PVSM, AVSM, YSM the Army Commander and Maj Gen A.M Verma SM, VSM Area Commander, both from Rajput Regiment. Gen Bhopinder Singh PVSM AVSM, Lt Governor Andaman and Nicobar, visits to Ross Island and Hovlock island, trip to Coral beaches, it sure was a fascinating treat. Encounters, up close and personal with bountiful treasures of nature, Rajput Veterans of Chandigarh Chapter have returned after a grand memorable odyssey. The Chandigarh Chapter of Rajput Association is organizing its 16 annual dinner meet on November 7 at Shivalik View, Chandigarh. Colonel of the regiment, Lt. Gen M.L. Naidu PVSM, AVSM, YSM and many senior serving and retired officers are expected.
