PUNE, Jan 21: A major hurdle in Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation8217;s MSRDC proposal of constructing flyovers in the city is likely to be removed with both Leader of the House Chandrakant Chhajed and Municipal Commissioner Rajiv Agarwal expressing their willingness to make the necessary change in the resolution.

Chhajed today told media persons that he would submit a letter to the Municipal Commissioner that Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi MVA would not hesitate to drop the condition of charging toll from the vehicles registered with Pune and Pimpri regional transport office RTO.

Chhajed made it clear that MVA was ready to table a fresh resolution in the House, if required, to fulfill the formalities. He said the issue of charging toll had become irrelevant since Public Works Minister Nitin Gadkari had already announced that toll would not be charged from the two and three wheelers.
