Peru have been banned from international competition, a leading official at the South American Football Confederation said.

Peru have been banned from international competition, a leading official at the South American Football Confederation CSF said on Monday.

Last week FIFA president Sepp Blatter warned Peru had until Monday to end a long-running feud between the football federation FPF and the Peruvian government or face an immediate international ban.
