Amit started off his career as a DJ with Sheetal Again. He was a choregrapher before he got hooked onto DJing. He also won The All India Dance competition during his choreo-days. When asked why the shift to DJing he quipped, ``I had a sick time as a choreographer.'' and thus decided that he could still make people dance to his tunes after his career change. His family offered him their full support and urged him on to pursue his ambition.DJ Amit staunchly believes that DJing is not just about playing 10 good songs. ``It is a whole trip that a DJ is taking the crowd on '', he claims.
