
CHANDIGARH, Sept 24: Superintendent of police Headquarters Baldev Singh is learnt to have recommended an inquiry into how the man posing as ASP got a PCR vehicle from the control room.
According to sources, Baldev Singh has written to the UT Senior Superintendent of Police C.S.R. Reddy that the role of police personnel into the episode should also be probed. Negi was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly impersonating as an ASP and he had named several policemen, saying that they were conniving with him.
