Terming the pitch of Green Park stadium as batting friendly, Kishore Pradhan, BCCI8217;s Central Zone Pitch Committee member said that possibilities are that India-England one day cricket match would be a high scoring event. Pradhan, who inspected Green Park stadium on Thursday, claimed that it would take another 10 days to prepare the pitch for the match. 8220;Seeing the pitch, it is likely the team batting first will score around 240 to 260 runs,8221; he said. Admitting the presence of Hairline cracks on the playing wicket, he said that the ground staff has been given the instructions to prepare a good pitch for the match. 8220;The slow nature of the wicket will prove of assistance to the batsman, and the match would be a visual treat for the spectators,8221; added Pradhan. He appreciated the efforts of ground staff for preparing a lush green outfield. 8220;Sourav regards me as his enemy, but as a curator of the ground I only did my duty, 8221; he said, commenting on the controversial Nagpur Test between India and Australia in October 2004.
