Escaping to adventure

MUMBAI, June 26: Adventure makes its way back into the city in the form of the 10th edition of the Mahindra Great Escape to be held on July 12. This was announced in e press conference held in the city late last evening.

This year the off-beat drive extravaganza will be held in the backwoods of Silvassa near Gujarat, announced Shrikant Karani of Sportscraft, who are managing the event being co-sponsored by Bharat Shell and Hotel Ras Resort.

The Great Escape is an adventure drive on the lines of four wheel drive Jamborees held abroad. This event will be exclusively for Mahindra vehicles with four persons being allowed per vehicle. A total of 55 entries are being accepted with 35 from Mumbai, 15 from Surat and five from Vapi. The last date for receiving entries is July 7.
