Environment Week

CHANDIGARH, Aug 6: To generate mass awareness about maintaining an ecological balance, Environment and Nature Conservation Week is being observed by various formations and military stations under the aegis of Headquarters Western Command from August 8.

Activities being organised on the occasion include tree plantation by school children, all ranks and their families, lectures by experts, seminars and workshops. Chandimandir scools will hold plantation drive on Aug 11.
