England captain David Beckham believes his team have put behind them last year8217;s selection rows between the players and the Football Association and are fully focused on Euro 2004. 8220;We are on the right road now to getting things sorted,8221; Beckham said before England travel to Faro for a friendly against Portugal on Wednesday.

8220;We8217;ve got to be on the same side, we can8217;t have these situations. It doesn8217;t help for the reparation of the game or for the players. We8217;ve got to put it behind us.8221;

8220;I8217;d like to think it couldn8217;t happen again because it8217;s not fair for fans and players,8221; said Real Madrid midfielder Beckham, who said there was now a more relaxed atmosphere in the England training camp.

8220;We were all looking forward to the Turkey game and the game after that and we were concentrating on something else instead of the game. We8217;re a few months on and a few changes have been made8230;so hopefully we are on the right road now.8221;
